A small, friendly running club based in Cwmbran, Torfaen

Fairwater Runners Cwmbran are a small, friendly, supportive and sociable fun-loving running club based in East Wales.

We pride ourselves on having fun while running and we welcome men and women of various abilities and ages.

Why join Fairwater Runners Cwmbran?

  • Membership fees £40 which incorporates Welsh Athletics Affiliation which provides each athlete with a degree of insurance during training and racing events.
  • All members are required to adhere to the Welsh Athletics Code of Conduct for athletes.
  • As a paid up member the club will fund 5 free cross country races via the GLCL league, 5 free road races via the GLCL league and 5 free cross country races via the Gwent Cross Country League. In each event you will score as an individual and for the club.
  • In addition you will also be able to access free coached training session, pre -arranged track sessions (as scheduled on club nights) Time Trial events and Handicap events again at no additional cost.
  • A free Hi Viz running bib. A subsidised club running vest.
